Jeff’s appreciation for the power of entrepreneurship and leadership grew over the years, ultimately leading to his ownership of a thriving, full-service New England-based advertising agency. At EVR Advertising, he transformed a diverse team of talented individuals into a well-regarded, widely recognized and highly profitable enterprise.

The Realization That Redefined His Leadership Philosophy

Early in his career, Jeff held the common belief that leadership is about the big moments — major speeches, sweeping changes and dramatic wins. But through the daily challenges and opportunities of managing teams and navigating change, he came to realize that true leadership is built through small, everyday actions many people overlook. A moment of encouragement, a decision to listen deeply, a simple act of recognition — these are the tiny moments that shape teams, build trust and drive success.

This realization led Jeff to write Beyond the Big: The Tiny Moments of Leadership. His mission is to help leaders understand that greatness isn’t reserved for a few big moments — it’s crafted every day, one small, intentional choice at a time.

Beyond The Big

Tiny Moments of Leadership

It is often believed that big moments of success are what make great leaders, with singular decisions – or even a group of them – accounting for the achievements of peerless organizations. But leaders aren’t great because they did one thing right. Instead, leadership is defined by the small daily decisions and interactions that imbue positivity, performance and culture into an organization.
